Sponsor Our Food For Schools Program

PORCH’s Food for Schools program serves all Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, the pre-K/Headstart program in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro district, and two after-school programs (the Family Resource Center and Boomerang).

The healthy snacks provided through Food for Schools help students focus in the classroom. They also forge connections between kids, teachers, and school social workers.

This program is primarily sponsored by local businesses, churches, and nonprofit and civic organizations. As a benefit of sponsorship, you will be listed on our website, in our annual report, and in a PORCH newsletter.

Becoming a sponsor is easy! Please reach out so that we can offer more information.

“Supporting PORCH is a perfect fit for us. Helping provide non-perishable foods to fight hunger at the local level is a good thing to do. We focus our philanthropic efforts on initiatives that allow us to directly impact the local area and supporting PORCH at [Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools] is a great example of a great local cause that we are fortunate to be a part of.”
David Smithwick, Southern Village Pharmacy

“Food from PORCH has been extremely helpful for my family. [It] allows us to afford other necessities in our home and gives us comfort knowing we can get the food we need.”
