You can use this link to view other food relief options in our community.

How do I receive my food?

Enrolled families can shop at our market once a month. We provide morning, evening, and weekend hours across 8 days each month. Families will make an appointment to shop at the market at the time that works best for them, bring their own grocery bags, and shop like any grocery store.

Our market is located at 202 S. Greensboro Street, Carrboro, NC 27510. Please park in the back of the building then enter in the front.

What if I can’t come into the market?

We will provide a small number of pre-packed bags including all market staples to those with circumstances that make it impossible to shop in the market. Pre-packed bags will also be available for families who are having someone else pick up their food.

How do I enroll my family?

Please speak to your child’s School Social Worker to apply to PORCH. They will walk you through the application process and we will contact you once it is complete.

If you are enrolled in the Food for Families Program and have additional questions, please call or text the PORCH phone at 919-338-9505. If you are not enrolled in this program but have one or more children enrolled in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School system, please contact your child’s social worker and they will help you apply for this program.
